The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released the results of July 2011 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) yesterday, August 20, 2011. Out of 78,135 examinees, only 37,513 or 48% passed the NLE given by the Board of Nursing. The exam was held in major cities and provinces of the country, namely Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last July 2 and 3, 2011.
The dates and venues of all oathtaking for this new batch of nurses will be announced later by the PRC. Just take note that registration for new nurses will require the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014. Also, successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
