The Game Called Angry Birds

Last year, one of the most popular games on smartphones is Angry Birds. In fact, it was rated as the number one game amongst all various platforms. It has also contributed to the sales of products such as iPhones and iPod touch. The game has been praised because of its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, as well as its low price. As the game has really made it big, its creators then launched a PC version both on Mac and Windows.

As the title suggests, this game consists of flock of angry birds. The birds’ motive is to get back their eggs from few evil pigs. The birds are thrown as a slingshot towards the pigs while the pigs try to protect themselves by hiding under various materials like wood, stone and ice. As the birds fall on the materials, it will make the materials to collapse and eventually killing the pigs. There are different types of birds and each have an additional trait. For example, the black bird can explode while the blue bird can split into three birds. The player can move-on to the next level as soon as he/she kills all the pigs and as the level go up, the puzzle will be more complicated. There is a given number of birds which are also the number of turns that the player needs to beat a particular stage. If the player fails to kill all the pigs after all the birds were thrown, he/she needs to repeat the stage.
